From the land of rich color and diverse culture comes Crazy Quilt, a blog by a young engineering graduate, Julia Scissor, who writes about anything and we do mean everything. In her blog, she documents daily life in India, one of the most populous <del datetime="2009-04-06T15:40:00+00:00">city’s</del>countries on earth and a fittingly themed patchwork of culture, history and religion. Known for their colorful culture, hectic lifestyle and many other unique stuff you can only see in India, it is home to the famous Taj Mahal one of the seven wonders of the world that is an expression of love from a Rajah to her queen. She describes her blog as a patchwork of themes and a natural expression of self and her surroundings with much to offer for all. Scanning her posts, her engineering background shows with technical stuff but simplified and made beautiful with injections of self-interpretation.
From her daily life to the experiences she goes through, they are all detailed and colored by her wonderful play with words, even mentioning her first ever hate comment(guess it pissed her off), that she took ever so gracefully(wish everybody was like her). She views life from her eyes and apartment window with so much gusto that normal things seem utterly interesting, giving life a wonderful alternate view. she encourages us to do the same, to see things in a different light, of different shades other than the dark and light. And who would forget the terrorist attacks that shook the nation last year that caused fear and death amongst the mainly peaceful nation(some say the neighbors did it… no comment). She even gives us a view on a different interpretation they have played around with the English language which is quite unique in the world of the untouchable global tongue that has been used, abused and in their case re-defined(nice!). Ending this all, this might be one of the best blogs indeed, tackling life without hate, bias or indecision, living life to the fullest and discussing it in full color and majesty. More Power to you Julia! ………… Thanks for the Correction 8>
